When puppies teethe, they enjoy chewing because it soothes their sore, tender gums. This can result in some damage in your household to various objects.
The best remedy for this behavior is chew toys. It also helps to confine your puppy as much as possible to small area in the house. Firmly say “no” when he chews on something he shouldn’t and place his chew toy in front of him. Always praise your puppy when he chooses his toy over your possessions.
