Nipping is quite common among puppies. Seemingly harmless, puppies need to be taught, beginning at eight weeks, to never touch your skin with his teeth. Redirect his urges to soft, plush and brightly colored toys.
If he starts to nip as you play, say “ouch” and stop the playtime for 10 seconds. If he does it again, leave the room for a moment. He will soon learn that nipping ends his playtime. This should stop the habit so that he can continue to enjoy playing with you. Select an appropriate dog toy: dog toys
